Mulch and Compost

Medium Decorative Grade Mulch

This organic mulch is formulated completely out of recycled material. It is 100% weed and disease free and will give your garden a natural look and feel. Most pieces are about 15mm ( or roughly the size of your fingernail) and it’s an easy product to move around. For best results the mulch should be put on your garden at a depth of 75mm (three inches). This will help keep the weeds out and keep moisture in the soil.

Heavy Grade Mulch

Our Heavy Grade Mulch is a fantastic way to give fabulous and long lasting weed suppression. It looks natural and like the medium grade mulch it will lock the moisture in your soil. In the past it has been very popular with both landscapers and the domestic market doing larger projects, not only because of the great ground coverage it gives but also the price point.

Compost

The Green Centre prides itself on producing an organic mulch made from 100% recycled material. A full composting process is conducted over a twelve week period. This ensures that all weeds and pathogens have been killed off and we are left with a product that is as pure as the earth its going into.

When would you use Compost?

Compost is a great product for nutrient deficient clay soils or sandy loams. It should always be worked into the existing soil base. Note, it is important not use compost as a mulch.
